ISIA September 2007
True to its innovation strategy, ISIA announces the release of the newest version of DIAPASON, its Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system designed for managing complex industry problems. The main advances focus on business intelligence (decision making support) and cost accounting, enhancing the pertinence of the system with respect to the needs of the industrial world.
New features:
Built-in Business Intelligence module
The new version of Diapason includes the Crystal Reports (Business Objects) solution in its application server technology. Crystal Reports allows you to pre-configure your settings, to manage and share indicator dashboards so as to facilitate your decision-making process. The user-friendly representation of information gives you an overall view of your activity at a glance. Moreover, this functionality can also be used to reduce operational errors through its integration in active data (items, customers, orders files…), whether in real time or non-synchronised mode.
Real-time valuation of work-in-process
This new industrial accounting function gives you the real-time financial value of your standard or made-to-order work-in-process, in their intermediate manufacturing stages.
For use by both financial and accounting services, and for production tracking management, valuation allows you to track work-in- process in real time or through inventories.
Based on the use of queues, inventories management and the cost price business process designer, valuation of work-in-process can be consolidated over several analytical directions.
Increased user friendliness
Diapason’s ergonomy has been improved to offer you increased user-friendliness and a faster grasp of the product. DIAPASON now has a theme modeller which enables you to customise the user interface (navigation bars, shortcuts…) for either a conventional terminal or for mobile, PDA-type technologies. The next version will feature a new interface based on new user interface standards, and featuring new browsing technology.
